Providing Trusted Travel Health Advice, Coordinating an International Network of Doctors and Clinics, Preventing Illnesses and the Spread of Infectious Diseases

Our mission is to provide health information to travellers on vaccinations, disease risks and illnesses, and food and water safety advice for all countries. To assist travellers abroad, IAMAT coordinates an international network of qualified doctors and mental health practitioners committed to providing trusted medical care. We also award scholarships and grants to doctors and nurses from low income countries to study, research, and train in travel medicine.

Our goal is to help you plan a healthy trip and provide more access to trusted medical and mental health practitioners around the world.  

Our vision is to live in a world where peace and cultural understanding can be attained through international travel. The friendships gained while travelling often bring about a sense of solidarity and evoke a spirit of cooperation.
