Schistosomiasis risk is present in the described areas only:

Risk of S. mansoni is limited to the highly populated agricultural areas surrounding Lake Valencia (states of Carabobo and Aragua). Cases have also been reported along the area from Valencia in the west to La Victoria in the east and south to Belén. Localized risk has also been reported in the parish of Caraballeda (Vargas State), Cúa on Rio Tuy and Guatire (Miranda State).
